Plavac Štafileo – Plavac is the most important red grape variety in Croatia and the main autochthonous grape variety in Dalmatia. It was developed by genetic mixing of Crljenak Kaštelanski and Dobričić. Its special characteristic lies in its strong and rich bouquet and high level of tannin.
